Customer Service Representative – Mortgage Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented, service-driven professional with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting clients through key stages of the mortgage lifecycle? This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a major financial institution's Mortgage Service Centre while contributing directly to end-to-end mortgage servicing operations.

Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Customer Service Representative – Mortgage Specialist who will support the mortgage discharge process, manage daily servicing requests, and ensure timely, accurate communication across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process mortgage discharge–related activities, including completing Optimizer requests and managing FCT payout functions.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries from the shared mailbox and voicemail system with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Navigate multiple internal systems daily to update files, track progress, and ensure all required actions are completed.
  • Support end-to-end mortgage servicing activities while ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and maintain smooth workflow across servicing processes.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when reviewing documentation and processing customer information.
