Our vision is to enable value-based healthcare and transform how care is coordinated across Canada and beyond. As a high-growth SaaS organization, we are scaling rapidly and looking for impactful leaders who are energized by complex challenges, bold ideas, and meaningful outcomes.

Role Overview

The Vice-President, Product Management is the driving force behind how Petal brings its product vision to life, turning product strategy into shipped capability and measurable outcomes.

Reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, this leader oversees the teams responsible for executing Petal's product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that product capabilities are delivered efficiently, predictably, and with exceptional quality.

This role ensures that teams are aligned on priorities, empowered to deliver, and equipped with the right processes, tools, and culture to turn strategic intent into scalable, high-quality outcomes that deliver measurable value to customers and health systems.

Key Responsibilities

Product Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the Product Management organization focused on delivering Petal's roadmap and executing against company objectives.

  • Ensure product delivery aligns with strategic goals, customer needs, and technical realities.

  • Translate product strategy into actionable delivery plans that balance speed, quality, and impact.

  • Build and empower product teams that thrive in a multidisciplinary, agile delivery environment.

Execution & Delivery Excellence

  • Establish clear delivery frameworks, planning cadences, and performance metrics to drive accountability and predictability.

  • Partner with Engineering and cross-functional leaders to align priorities, resource allocation, and capacity planning.

  • Drive execution discipline — ensuring clarity of scope, decision-making efficiency, and outcome measurement across delivery teams.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement focused on velocity, quality, and value realization.

Roadmap Management & Communication

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle from roadmap definition through delivery, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.

  • Drive transparent communication of roadmap progress, milestones, and outcomes to internal and executive stakeholders.

  • Connect delivery performance to business objectives, highlighting measurable impact and learnings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Operations to ensure readiness, governance, and synchronization between strategy and execution.

  • Collaborate with Product Channels to ensure competitive insights, market feedback, and customer value are integrated into delivery priorities.

  • Build trusted relationships across the Product & Technology organization, enabling clarity, accountability, and joint ownership of results.

Leadership & Culture

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a team of high-performing product leaders who embody Petal's values and leadership behaviours.

  • Cultivate a delivery-driven mindset anchored in accountability, transparency, and collaboration.

  • Promote empowerment, autonomy, and cross-functional ownership to accelerate innovation and execution.

  • Serve as a cultural leader, linking delivery excellence with Petal's mission to make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and sustainable.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of progressive experience in Product Management or related leadership roles within SaaS or technology organizations.

  • Proven success leading large-scale product delivery initiatives in complex, multi-product environments.

  • Deep understanding of agile delivery models, product lifecycle management, and operational scaling.

  • Track record of driving execution discipline and organizational alignment across multiple functions.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strategic, outcome-driven mindset with a focus on delivering measurable customer and business value.
