  • Effectively manage human, financial, and material resources, including budget planning, cost control, financial results, and risk management.
  • Identify market opportunities and support the diversification of services and client segments to drive regional growth.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and opportunities at the regional level, and nationally when required, in collaboration with other Senior Directors.
  • Act as the primary authority for go/no-go decisions related to service proposals and participate, when required, in proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strategic business relationships with key clients, partners, and regional organizations while strengthening CIMA+ visibility and positioning.
  • Develop and oversee the Ontario regional mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy to support sector growth.
  • Lead, support, and develop Business Unit Leaders, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote a culture of performance, innovation, and engagement.
  • Strengthen organizational capacity by developing key talent, anticipating succession needs, and aligning competencies and certifications to support long-term growth.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lead a team by inspiring growth and excellence.
  • Ability to define a regional vision aligned with national priorities and to mobilize multidisciplinary E&E teams around shared objectives.
  • Strong command of planning, budgeting, financial performance management, risk management, and organizational performance.
  • Knowledge of disciplines and expertise related to the Earth & Environment sector (Geotechnical Engineering, Geosciences, Natural Environments, Urban Planning).
  • Ability to act proactively, assess the profitability of opportunities, and make informed decisions, including strategic go/no-go decisions for service proposals.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain solid, long-term relationships with major clients, identify market opportunities, and support growth.
  • Ability to harmonize practices, improve processes, and promote the adoption of new approaches.
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic influence, impactful negotiation, and representation of the organization with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong aptitude for talent development and succession management: ability to coach, train, inspire, and develop emerging leaders within the organization.
