We are seeking an energetic Maintenance Coordinator who will be a conduit between Sales, Service and the Customer, focusing their efforts on execution of all service, installation, and transportation work, including managing third-party contractors. The successful candidate will be integral to executing ATCO's proven processes, maintaining safe working conditions, and ensuring quality standards are maintained every day. 

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, and the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from our Kamloops branch

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform service work on modular buildings within our rental fleet, maintain orderly and safe yard conditions while ensuring facility and office maintenance is completed.
  • Coordinate transportation with carriers on all incoming and outgoing shipments, and coordinate with clients on delivery and pickup timelines
  • Administer Bill of Ladings and prepare yard count and fleet utilization reports regularly
  • Accountable for maintaining equipment, conducting inspections, and facilitating repairs regularly as needed.
  • Monitor material levels, submit timely material requisitions for all repair and maintenance materials and consumables.
  • Respond to routine requests from sales teams on equipment availability and pending rentals.
  • Maintain accurate service work order documentation, photos, and inspection reports.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within construction, modular building installations, equipment rentals, or commercial/residential remediation.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, with basic working knowledge in trades such as electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
  • Must be able to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Requires the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and work at heights.
  • Prior forklift experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other basic computer applications.
  • Comfortable with data entry in Excel and performing routine tasks such as uploading photos, scanning documents, and organizing inspection sheets, purchase requisitions, and schedules.
  • Must have a positive attitude toward learning new software and a strong desire to grow within the role.
