You can contribute to our innovation and appreciate how your work is helping take this company to a higher level of operational maturity. More on that here.
Your mission should you choose to accept it.
ScalePad is looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead and grow our product marketing organization through an exciting stage of transformation. You'll have the opportunity to define the strategy and execution of how we position, package, and launch our products, driving clarity across our multi-product portfolio while helping ScalePad define a new category: Customer Success for MSPs.
You'll oversee a team of talented product marketers and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to unify our story, sharpen our go-to-market motions, and evolve our growth strategy as we continue to move toward a product-led (PLG) model.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic marketing leader who can balance storytelling with systems thinking and who can connect narrative, data, and GTM alignment to drive real business outcomes.
Responsibilities.
Product & Market Strategy
- Define and evolve ScalePad's product positioning and messaging across our portfolio to reinforce our category narrative in the MSP space.
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of our markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
- Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to define opportunities for differentiation, growth, and expansion.
- Analyze and size the MSP market across our key regions to define our total addressable market (TAM) and inform our strategic planning.
- Establish and refine our customer segmentation strategy and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) to ensure alignment across Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing.
- Help design and operationalize our product-led growth (PLG) motion to complement our existing sales-led approach.
Go-to-Market Excellence
- Own the strategy and execution for product launches, ensuring every release is impactful, coordinated, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and CS to define clear value propositions and target personas for our products.
- Continuously improve GTM processes, frameworks, and templates to drive repeatable success.
Enablement & Alignment
- Partner with Sales Enablement and Revenue leadership to help create tools, playbooks, and content that help our sellers communicate value and close deals faster.
- Ensure product and value messaging is consistently represented across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Help align our GTM functions around shared market definitions, segments, and opportunities.
Pricing, Packaging & Portfolio Strategy
- Lead cross-functional work to refine pricing and packaging across our product suite, ensuring we optimize for adoption, expansion, and partner experience.
- Drive a cohesive approach to bundling, cross-sell, and multi-product storytelling that strengthens customer retention and lifetime value.
Leadership & Team Development
- Manage, mentor, and scale a team of product marketers—fostering collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Shape the future structure of the PMM team to best support our evolving product and business strategy.
- Act as a key voice in the marketing leadership team, helping define ScalePad's broader brand and go-to-market vision.
- Serve as an active member of ScalePad's Management Leadership Team (MLT), contributing to strategic discussions and company-wide initiatives.
Qualifications.
- 8+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing teams.
- Experience marketing to IT, MSP, or similar B2B technology audiences is a strong plus.
- Proven success leading go-to-market strategies for multi-product portfolios.
- Deep understanding of PLG motions and how to integrate them within hybrid (sales + product-led) models.
- Strength in storytelling, narrative development, and category creation.
- Experience with pricing, packaging, and segmentation strategy.
- People-first leader with a passion for coaching, developing, and elevating teams and supporting career growth for their direct reports.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills—able to influence at all levels.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills are essential.
