We are a public accounting firm based in Richmond, seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and communicative accounting assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist accountants with daily accounting tasks

  • Enter and verify accounting data (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)

  • Prepare of Compilation, T1 and T2 returns

  • Filling with government correspondence

  • Communicate with clients, collect documents, and follow up on progress

  • Be ready to handle a fast-paced and high-volume workload during tax season

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English, proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is considered an asset

  • Accounting firm experience is an asset

  • Knowledge of Cantax T1 and T2 , Formmaster, Quickbooks is an asset

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Degree or diploma in accounting or a related field (accounting major)
