Overview

Corrosion Service Company Limited (CSCL) is seeking a Technical Assistant to support field-level activities across a variety of projects. This role is essential to the successful execution of overline survey and construction projects, AC mitigation testing, and technical equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality work in alignment with CSCL's standards and client expectations.

Field Operations:

  • Assist with field tasks including:
    • Cathodic Protection Surveys
    • Indirect Inspections
    • Capital Construction Projects
    • Corrosion Inhibitor Casing Projects
    • Technical Equipment Installation
    • Rectifier Troubleshooting and Repairs
  • Support AC mitigation project testing and reporting.
  • Maintain and operate assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Health & Safety: 

  • Attend and actively participate in monthly safety meetings.
  • Complete required field Health and Safety documentation.
  • Follow emergency response procedures and use all PPE required.
  • Report hazards, incidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Participate in mandatory safety training and follow safe work practices/procedures.

Team & Culture:

  • Uphold company Code of Conduct and dress code standards.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and suggest improvements.

 Qualifications:

  • University or College graduate in Electrical Engineering or Technology Program
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  • Valid driver's license with flexibility to travel and work overtime
  • Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptable, proactive, and a strong team player
  • Cathodic protection knowledge is an asset
  • Oil and gas pipeline industry background is an asset
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
