Video Content Creator

Contract Position (6 months)

**About the Role**

**PLEASE NOTE**:This position is **hybrid in the Toronto area.** While some work (editing/planning) can be done remotely, we may require you to commute to the office for activities like training, filming, team collaboration, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content and strategies for platforms
- Film and capture high-quality video footage that adheres to brand guidelines and captures the attention of our target audience.
- Film content where you are the star as well as videos featuring others (advisors, content experts, clients, etc.).
- Edit videos ensuring seamless transitions, appropriate audio, visual effects, and engaging storytelling.
- Optimize videos for different platforms
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and upload videos, while closely monitoring engagement and making adjustments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, trends, and features of TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Analyze video performance metrics and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and audience engagement.
- Use this data to refine future content creation strategies. Maintain a well-organized library of video assets, ensuring they are easily accessible for future use.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create long-form Youtube and training content videos.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a video content creator, video editor, or similar role.

Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and unique video content ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with video analytics and an ability to use data to optimize content strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Experience/knowledge in the finance or insurance space

**Salary**: $45,099.30-$55,903.87 per year
