Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver parcels along designated routes.
  • Load and unload packages efficiently using tools like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate delivery by verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures upon receipt.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Keep detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents that occur during shifts.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification preferred.
  • Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting.
  • Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, or pallet jacks is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or equipment.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
  • Reliable transportation to start shifts promptly and maintain consistent attendance.
