Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Mobile Patrol Security Guard in Kamloops, BC. This role involves conducting mobile patrols across assigned sites to ensure safety, security, and compliance with site requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid BC Security Worker License (mandatory)
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous security or patrol experience is an asset
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in various situations
  • Physically fit and able to patrol for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile patrols of assigned properties according to patrol schedules
  • Monitor sites for safety, security, and unusual activity
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and service calls
  • Complete accurate patrol logs and incident reports
  • Maintain a visible security presence to help prevent incidents and promote safety
  • Follow post orders and company policies at all times
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients
