Exciting opportunity to join a brand new concept by JJ Bean Coffee Roasters - NEATE DONUTS by JJ Bean Coffee Roasters located in downtown Vancouver.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Making yeast dough, fillings, and glazes.
  • Frying and decorating donuts.
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering ingredients.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized working environment.

This opportunity might be right for you if*:

  • Have a car or another reliable mode of transportation.
  • Have completed a Baking and Pastry program.
  • Are familiar with mixing equipment (Hobart).
  • Proficient in making dough and various fillings (pastry cream, fruit fillings, etc).
  • Enjoy a busy, physically active work environment.
  • Have a positive, solutions oriented attitude.
  • Can communicate effectively in the English language.
  • Are reliable and punctual.
  • Love to learn new things and are open to feedback.
  • Are able to stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Are able to lift up to 25kg.
  • Have a valid work permit to work in Canada.
  • Available to work weekends.

*We are open to training someone with no prior experience if they have a keen interest in baking and demonstrates a willingness to learn.
