About Souck
Souck is a growing movement dedicated to giving blue-collar small businesses the recognition and tools they deserve. We believe the local shopkeeper, contractor, mechanic, and craftsperson are the backbone of Canada's economy — the true builders of our communities. We're not another digital marketing agency. We're a storytelling force, building the bridge between craftsmanship and clarity, powered by data, AI, and the human stories that define real work.
Our tagline:
"For the Hands that Build Canada."
The Role: Freelance Journalist (Field Contributor)
Souck is seeking local freelance journalists in the Greater Toronto, preferably students to conduct on-camera interviews with small business owners, artisans, and tradespeople. You will show up, film, and upload. That's it — no editing, no writing, no post-production.

- Upload Footage - Upload full video files to Souck's Odoo portal immediately after recording.
- Pre-Shoot Coordination - Communicate with the Content Manager for scheduling, shoot details, and consent forms.
- Equipment Handling - Ensure basic camera, lighting, and audio setup for clear, stable footage.
- Schedule - Flexible and fully remote. Occasional in-person team meetings at our office in Downtown Toronto.
