Your place in our story

As a Construction Technician, you'll support the site team in delivering homes from framing through to completion. You'll identify and repair deficiencies, assist with quality control, and help ensure homes are built to Minto standards—on time, and with a great customer experience in mind. 

Here's how you'll contribute 

Deficiency Repairs & Quality Control: 

  • Complete repair lists following MPDI and PDO inspections. 
  • Perform interior finishing repairs (windows, doors, trim, baseboards, floors). 
  • Conduct insulation, drywall, and carpentry repairs as needed. 
  • Report issues or damages to the Foreman and follow up on repairs promptly. 

Site Support: 

  • Prepare homes for City inspections and homeowner walkthroughs. 
  • Support the team with general construction tasks as assigned. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment inside and outside the home. 
  • Report safety concerns and ensure protective equipment is worn and used properly. 

What you bring to the team

  • 2+ years of experience in residential construction; on-the-job training provided. 
  • High School Diploma is an asset. 
  • General knowledge of homebuilding and repair work. 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team. 
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. 
  • Bilingualism is an asset. 

Pay Range: $27-$32
