Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patient comfort during their visits. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to manage appointments and follow-up care.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient interactions.
  • Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus but not required.
  • Dental assisting experience can be beneficial in understanding the workflow of the practice.
