Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Warman Truss is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator that will assist us in the material distribution within our yard and our manufacturing facility. We produce custom made trusses for garage, residential, farm and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Picking lumber and transporting lumber to the processing plant with a forklift
  • Stacking trusses into piles and packages
  • Loading orders onto the trucks for delivery accordingly

The successful candidate for this position will have the following:

  • Strong sense of teamwork, as well as the ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, training will be provided but previous experience is a must have.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and grading lumber would be a considerable asset.
  • Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to work outside throughout the year.
  • Physically able to comfortably lift 50+ lbs
  • Safety minded and can follow all safety procedures accordingly.

This is a permanent full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
