Your new company

Our client is a growing real estate development and shared workspace group with a reputation for quality, innovation and integrity. They are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to strengthen their finance capabilities and support growth across a portfolio of residential and mixed‑use projects.

Your new role

  • Lead full‑cycle corporate accounting and reporting under ASPE
  • Manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Oversee annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collaborating with department heads
  • Build and maintain cash‑flow, revenue and expense models for corporate entities
  • Prepare weekly cash management reports and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budget vs. actuals)
  • Maintain schedules for capital assets, loans, prepaids and other financial items
  • Develop and update executive dashboards to support decision‑making
  • Partner with project accountants and internal teams to align operational and financial data
  • Liaise with auditors, lenders and stakeholders; provide required financial information
  • Assist with FP&A tool integration and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Create templates and streamline recurring accounting and forecasting tasks
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs

What you'll need to succeed

  • CPA designation with 4–6 years' experience (public practice and/or real estate development/construction/property management)
  • Strong accounting fundamentals plus budgeting and financial analysis experience
  • Advanced Excel, Yardi and Sage 300 CRE are assets
