What you'll be doing
You will be joining the Optimization & Process Engineering Team within Technology, Innovation, and Infrastructure. As a Process Engineering Consultant, you will lead end-to-end process and re-engineering projects, implementing process improvements that enhance client experience and drive profitability. Drawing on your expertise, you will guide key initiatives that improve processes impacting our clients. By leveraging advanced data analysis skills, you will identify critical pain points and recommend actionable solutions to optimize processes and deliver meaningful results. You will collaborate closely with your team to plan, develop, and implement process strategies that contribute to building the bank of the future
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed
Conducting process assessments – Perform ongoing process reviews to identify issues early on and recommend solutions to business challenges. Stay on top of best practices and industry knowledge to identify process improvements that will create a best-in-class client experience.
Presenting recommendations – Provide feedback and advice on projects that will improve processes and resolve systematic issues. Consider business needs and make practical recommendations for continuous improvement.
Leadership skills – Use your expertise in process engineering methodologies and project management to lead projects and initiatives. Proactively gather data, information, and stakeholder feedback to provide informed guidance to your team. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support your team to resolve problems as they arise.
Interpersonal relations – You have effective communication skills and can present clearly and concisely using relevant examples or illustrations. You can convince others and build support for process improvement recommendations.

- You have a degree/diploma in Engineering, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
- Your influence makes a difference. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You inspire outcomes by sharing your expertise.
You have exposure to data analytics, AI concepts and consulting experience.
You can demonstrate experience in communicating across domains and a business related function (operations, strategy development, organizational design, or information technology). It's an asset if you have consulting experience.
