Responsibilities for Plumber

  • Installation of Plumbing Systems: Install pipes, fixtures, and appliances for water and drainage systems in new construction projects.
  • Reading Blueprints: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations and ensure proper layout and compliance with building codes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with construction site supervisor, and contractors to coordinate plumbing installations and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Testing and Maintenance: Conduct tests on plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions, ensuring all systems operate efficiently and safely.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certification: Registered and Licensed Red Seal Plumber.
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment, as well as strong problem solving skills to address plumbing issues effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, co-workers and other construction professionals, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.

Working Conditions

  • New construction work is performed on job sites, which may involve exposure to various weather and working in potentially hazardous environments. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team first environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
