Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and food preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, priorizing in bread and pastries. Your creativity in cake decorating and knowledge of food safety practices will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, cakes, and desserts.
  • prepare and bake sourdough bread and pastries
  • Decorate baked goods and deserts according to company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed.
  • Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and techniques.

Qualifications

  • desire to learn
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in Baking industry is needed
  • diploma in culinary, license and certification is an asset but will by highly considered
  • Experience in cake decorating is preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
