Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario We are seeking a skilled
Lathe Operator
to support the setup and operation of our machining equipment. This role is critical in ensuring that machined parts meet quality and design standards in a fast-paced production environment. Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends required.

What You Will Be Doing

Here's an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

  • Set up and operate lathe machines to perform cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing of parts and materials.
  • Inspect finished products to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools to assess part dimensions.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Prior experience with CNC or manual lathe machines preferred.
  • Willingness to work either day or afternoon shift.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
