- Driving sales and act proactively to attract customers.
- Hiring, training, and supervising restaurant staff, ensuring high customer service is maintained.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve overall restaurant operations, including sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing inventory management, ordering, and maintaining all supplies, equipment, and ingredients.
- Creating and maintaining work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate and cost-effective coverage at all times.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Working closely with the kitchen staff to ensure menu items are prepared to high standards and promptly.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant environment, ensuring sanitation and safety standards compliance.
- Ensuring equipment maintenance is carried out as per the required schedule.
The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be required to obtain a Food Handler certificate.
Requirements: - A salesman, who can surprise us with the ability to speak with guests, build relationships and nurture a welcoming environment. -At least 5 years of experience in sales, restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume environment - Multitasking and ability to work under pressure - Criminal record check - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulations about the restaurant industry in London and Ontario - Proficiency in restaurant software, such as POS systems and inventory management tools, is an asset. Education and certifications: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. - A Food Handler certificate is required. This is a full-time position that requires flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
