Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing friendly service, managing food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service, customer interaction, and operational procedures within a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Support team members in maintaining a smooth flow of operations during shifts
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting and multitask effectively

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry who enjoy engaging with customers and working as part of a team. Prior restaurant experience or familiarity with the food service sector will be advantageous in excelling in this role.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
