Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Team Housing Manager, this position is focussed on ensuring our employee housing units maintain a high standard of cleanliness for our internal guests (employees). Although you will not be responsible for cleaning individual employee rooms on a regular basis, you will be tasked with ensuring all rooms are clean and orderly prior to an employee moving in, as well as once they have moved out, so that it is in suitable shape for the next tenant. You will also be responsible for regularly cleaning common areas (kitchens), however, all our residents are expected to clean up after themselves, so your role will be routine regular cleaning (sweeping, mopping etc.) rather than washing dishes, cleaning pots, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and shared spaces.
• Remove garbage and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of team housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Assist in seasonal preparations, including opening and closing accommodations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Willingness to learn and assist with various maintenance and custodial tasks.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working with tools, including circular saws and drills (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while taking direction.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks based on operational needs.
• Reliable and accountable in performing assigned duties.
• Previous experience in custodial work, maintenance, or property management is an asset but not required.

• This is a hands-on position that requires physical work and adaptability.
• The role is a unique facility support function.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with members of the maintenance and housing teams.
• Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
