Position Summary
The Qualified School-Age Educator (TES) plays a vital role in supporting the development, inclusion, and well-being of children in our before- and after-school programs. This position requires a compassionate professional who can design and implement engaging activities while supporting children with diverse needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inclusive, engaging educational programs tailored to children's needs.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with exceptionalities.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to promote holistic child development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and individualized support.
- Facilitate activities that promote social interaction, creativity, and learning.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsabilités principales
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des programmes éducatifs inclusifs et stimulants adaptés aux besoins des enfants.
- Favoriser une atmosphère sûre, bienveillante et inclusive pour tous les enfants, y compris ceux ayant des besoins particuliers.
- Collaborer avec les parents, les soignants et les collègues afin de promouvoir le développement global des enfants.
- Observer et évaluer les progrès des enfants, fournir des rétroactions et un soutien individualisé.
- Animer des activités favorisant les interactions sociales, la créativité et l'apprentissage.
- Maintenir un environnement propre et organisé propice à l'apprentissage et au jeu.
- Participer aux activités de perfectionnement professionnel continu.
- Accomplir toute autre tâche connexe.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bilingual in French and English (oral and written).
- Diploma in Special Education Techniques (TES) – Required.
- Proven experience working with children in educational or care settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt programming to meet diverse developmental needs.
- Experience working with children with disabilities considered an asset.
- Commitment to inclusion, empathy, and child-centered care.
Qualifications
- Obligatoire : Bilinguisme français et anglais (oral et écrit).
- Diplôme en Techniques d'éducation spécialisée (TES) – Exigé.
- Expérience avérée dans le travail avec les enfants dans des milieux éducatifs ou de soins.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en collaboration.
- Capacité à adapter les programmes selon les besoins variés des enfants.
- Expérience auprès d'enfants ayant des handicaps considérés comme un atout.
Engagement envers l'inclusion, l'empathie et le bien-être des enfants.
Compensation & Employment Details
- Hourly Wage: $25 base + $2 WEG + $1 PRIME Split Shift = $28 total
- Bonus: $1,000 sign on bonus ($500 after probation period is complete, $500 after 1 year of service)
- Hours of Work: 30-44 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Overtime will be compensated in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA).

Workplace Conditions
· Travel between sites is required. Mileage is reimbursed per company policy.
