What You'll Do
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Author detailed product requirements and user stories; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, QA, and Marketing to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Support teams to enable successful customer adoption, including creating training material and supporting key customer engagements.
- Drive product positioning and go-to-market plans in collaboration with Marketing, ensuring consistent messaging and value articulation.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers or cross-functional contributors, fostering a strong product-thinking culture.
- Act as a product expert in executive briefings, customer sessions, trade shows, and conferences.
- Stay up to date with competitive product landscapes, technological advancements, and evolving customer needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in an enterprise software or SaaS environment, with at least 2 years in a senior-level or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing innovative, scalable products.
- Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills — comfortable influencing across levels and departments.
- Technical background or strong technical fluency, especially in networking, enterprise IT, or telecommunications.
- Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate degree is a plus.
- Android, Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows Server experience a plus Completion of Pragmatic Marketing (now Pragmatic Institute) training is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events; valid passport required.
