Job Description
As Communications Intern, you will be responsible for the company's social media platforms, website(s), and promoting our events using these channels. Specifically, we expect your role to consist of the following responsibilities:

  • Updating the organization's social media presence on all relevant platforms, including scheduling posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Updating the organization's website with relevant publications, including blog entries.
  • Assist in planning, writing and managing the quarterly eNewsletter
  • Designing flyers, graphics, e-vites and other material for major events hosted by the organization
  • Collaborating with personnel on new ideas, directions, and venues for communications
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts
