We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented professional to support our clients who have overdue payments. You'll be responsible for reaching out, assessing their financial situations, and negotiating tailored solutions that help them regain their footing—all while delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Do

  • Make outbound calls to clients with overdue mortgage payments
  • Negotiate repayment solutions and hardship accommodations based on client needs
  • Complete risk assessments to identify the best payment strategies
  • Review files, provide information, and follow up with clients until resolution
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and agreed-upon resolutions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to efficiently implement solutions
  • Escalate complex cases to management when required
  • Contribute to department targets and minimize uncollectible accounts
  • Ensure payment reconciliation and account accuracy
  • Stay updated on industry practices and maintain confidentiality at all times

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education or 2+ years in a collections or financial services role
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or call centre (inbound/outbound)
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and active listening abilities
  • Calm under pressure with a client-focused mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce preferred); strong Excel/Outlook skills
  • Mortgage Agent license (can be completed upon commencement of employment)
  • Fluency in additional languages is a strong asset
