Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the home. This includes performing cleaning duties, laundry, and general upkeep to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
  • Dust furniture and baseboards, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and polish surfaces
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels as needed
  • Wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry and linens
  • Organize closets, cupboards, and storage areas
  • Dispose of trash and recycling properly
  • Replenish household supplies (soap, paper products, cleaning materials)
  • Report any maintenance issues or needed repairs
  • Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition
  • Prepare simple meals or assist with food preparation
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping or dry cleaning

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals (with proper safety measures)
  • Must obtain OPS Clearance

Typical Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$28.28 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
