We are seeking an individual with a purpose and passion to enhance the lives of

residents living in our state-of-the-art Retirement Community.

We are in search of an individual who is in search of meaningful work that makes a

difference in residents lives every day. We are hiring for a Housekeeper to help maintain

the cleanliness of our home. As a housekeeper you would be responsible for performing

cleaning duties and routines that will provide a pleasant and safe environment for

residents, visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate cleaning and

sanitation methods and procedures

  • Clean resident suites and common areas, including, but not limited to: serveries,

washrooms, living areas, walls, ceilings, lights, vents and windows

  • Operate floor care machines

  • Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, utilizing infection control

principles and policies

  • Ensure supplies are adequate in housekeeping and equipment is in proper

working order before commencing daily routines

  • Pick up and transport garbage to designated areas

  • Launder residents' personal linens, towels and sheets

  • Clean and restock assigned housekeeping cart

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrate an ability to understand, empathize and relate well with residents

  • Possess the ability to follow instructions and complete designated tasks

  • Attention to detail

  • Secondary School Graduate or approved equivalent

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: From $18.48 per hour

Experience:

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
