Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations and safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating food supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
  • Perform barista duties as needed, including preparing coffee and specialty beverages.
  • Support other staff members in various roles within the food service environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and serving methods.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Barista experience is a plus but not required.
