Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machinery, including CNC equipment and press brake machines, and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and warehouse operations are encouraged to apply. The position involves operating complex machinery, performing quality control checks, and supporting assembly and packaging processes to ensure efficient production workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment with precision.
  • Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Perform setup, calibration, and routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices for quality control inspections.
  • Support welding, assembly, and packaging tasks as needed to meet production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the warehouse or production floor.
  • Follow safety protocols related to mechanical operations and warehouse activities.
  • Assist in training new team members on machine operation procedures.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks, and CNC programming is highly desirable.
  • Experience with press brake machines, welding techniques, mechanical assembly, and blueprint reading is preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, quality control procedures, and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous. This role requires a dedicated individual with technical skills in machining and manufacturing processes who can contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency within our production team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$27.53 per hour
