We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, analysis and tax filings. This position is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Caseware.

*Responsibilities*

  • Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.

  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.

  • Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Utilize accounting software such as Caseware for data entry and reporting.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records in compliance with corporate finance policies.

  • Using the tax preparation software as needed.

*Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Familiarity with account reconciliation and account analysis processes.

  • Experience with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks or Caseware is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

  • Cantonese/ Mandarin/ Malaysia speaking is an advantage.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
