What You Will Do

Our team is looking for individuals who have positive energy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the drive to partner with our committed team to sell the best technology and drive team success Forescout is growing fast, and is seeking a dynamic, results-orientated Front End Software Engineer to join our team.

• Own and deliver stories end-to-end.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to cross-functional efforts.
• Perform review of AI outputs and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain software solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and unit testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, UX) to refine requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

You should be comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly as new information emerges.

Key Skills (Front-End Focused)

• 5+ years of software development experience with a technical bachelor's degree.
• Strong problem-solving with a focus on translating visual requirements into intuitive user interfaces.
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture, component patterns, and reusable UI systems.
• Skilled at translating Figma designs, design tokens, and UX specifications into pixel-perfect implementation.
• Ability to optimize UI performance, accessibility and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
• Effective collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• Time management and ability to work independently on tasks.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• You must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to pivot quickly as new information emerges.

Core Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Comfortable with state management libraries (e.g., redux, redux-saga, react-query).
• Experience with unit test framework/libraries (e.g., Jest, react-testing-library).
• Strong understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Exposure to LLM inference, agents, embeddings, graph workflows, prompt engineering.
• Strong proficiency in UI/UX design elements for AI native interactions.
