Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving food, managing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
  • Operate POS systems, for order processing and cash handling
  • Serve customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, upselling menu items when appropriate
  • Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
  • Ensure timely service during busy periods through effective time management
  • Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with food preparation and handling procedures
  • Experience using POS systems
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards
  • Kitchen experience or serving background is beneficial for understanding workflow and customer interactions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
