Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our team working on projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment and a strong commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoe, and compactors.
  • Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Work closely with foremen, site supervisors, and team members to ensure project efficiency.
  • Attend site meetings and communicate clearly to support smooth operations.
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards, company policies, and project regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction environments.
  • Proficiency in basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
