Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, expertise in hair styling, and a passion for creating exceptional client experiences. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your creativity while building lasting relationships with clients in a welcoming environment. The Barber/Stylist will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts, styling, and grooming services, as well as maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Additionally, the position involves engaging with clients at the front desk, upselling retail products, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the salon.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
  • Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized and maintained according to health standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service by listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations
  • Engage with clients at the front desk to schedule appointments and manage walk-ins efficiently
  • Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
  • Assist in retail sales efforts by promoting available products and services

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions
  • Experience handling front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing client flow is preferred
  • Retail sales experience is a plus but not required
