Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and manage the front desk, including scheduling appointments using salon software such as MEEVO
- Assist licensed stylists and barbers with hair styling and chemical services
- Support salon operations by maintaining sanitation standards and ensuring a clean work environment
- Promote retail products through upselling techniques and retail math skills to enhance client experience and sales goals
- Learn and assist with color theory applications and other beauty treatments under mentorship
- Manage client check-in/check-out processes efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
- Support store management with inventory organization and product displays
- Participate in mentoring sessions to develop technical skills
Requirements
- Passion for the beauty industry with an interest in cosmetology or barbering
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Basic understanding of salon software systems like MEEVO for appointment scheduling and client management
- Knowledge of retail sales principles and upselling strategies to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
