**Job Summary**:
Dishwasher is a position that provides support to restaurants and staff while offering fundamental training and experience to the employees. The dishwasher maintains high standards for cleanliness by washing tableware, and kitchen items and performing other cleaning tasks as assigned, such as assisting with food preparations. The dishwasher must be organized, follow all proper sanitation procedures and policies, will store all dish ware properly, log and record any breakage for reporting to the Head chef.

- Support the smooth operation of kitchen activities by effectively managing dishwashing, cleaning, and food preparation assistance
- Ensure a safe, organized, and well-maintained workspace that meets operational and health regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, serving items and equipment as per the approved and approved food safe guide
- Operate the dishwasher and check all items for cleanliness
- dishwasher must be cleaned properly (racks removed) as per standards daily
- Store all clean dishes in appropriate areas
- Maintain all dishwashing and other cleaning equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe environment around the dishwashing areas
- Must sweep & mop entire kitchen several times a day to maintain cleanliness
- Assist in unloading and organizing daily food delivery
- Clean the garbage area, sort & organize trash
- Assist with food preparation as required
- Assist with making food deliveries to clients if required.

- Assess the value, and importance of products and customer needs to maintain a high standard of quality
- Must know or quickly learn how to use and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment and understand and manage cleaning supplies
- Occasionally work overtime when needed and assist the workload of others when required.

**Physical Job Requirements**:
This position requires the Dishwasher to be able to:

- Must stand for extended periods
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Perform moderate physical activities, including climbing, lifting (up to 40 lbs/18 kg), balancing, walking, and handling materials
- Work safely in a frequently wet environment with well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Requires finger dexterity for small tools and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess good written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer focus skills
- Basic computer proficiency and experience required
- Current (within 6 months) Police Clearance
- 3 doses of COVID-19 and the Current (within 1 year) influenza vaccination record
- Valid food-safe handling certification.
