We currently have an opening for an experienced underwriter with minimum 3 years experience in commercial underwriting. The successful candidate will be working in a hybrid setting which promotes healthy collaboration with colleagues.

Skills and experience

  • minimum 3 years in the P&C industry with underwriting responsibility
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Strong communicator
  • Commitment to completing assigned tasks, while being mindful of the team's long term goals
  • Team player who prioritizes collaboration

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with brokers with professional courtesy in a manner that is consistent with our service oriented approach
  • collaborate with our UK and domestic Market business associates
  • Underwrite new applications, endorsements by researching and determining the appropriate rates
