We are currently looking for a Die Cut Machine Operator - afternoon shift for a 3 months contract with the possibility of being extended to join our team at our Toronto manufacturing plant (the closest main intersection is Victoria Park and Eglinton).

Die Cut Machine Operator Requirements :

  • Operates punch press to cut out different materials e.g. PCBs, kapton, press materials, packaging foam, adhesives.
  • Operates Spartanics whole punch press
  • Adjusts die datums to customer specifications from first off inspections.
  • Verifies first off's using shadow graft, accugauge or verniers.
  • Performs manual and machine forming to meet dimensional requirements.
  • Prepares panels for fusing, runs panels through fusing machine and forwards panels to next operation.
  • Completes nonconforming and damaged materials reports as required and forwards to quality manager.
  • Verifies traveler counts before and after processing of product.
  • Sends product to next process and updates the MRP system.

Other Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Die Cut Machine Operator in PCB Industry, or similar role
  • Controlled Goods Program (CGP) background check clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 5-10lbs
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
