Responsibilities:

  • Deliver design solutions in line with design intent, considering the needs of stakeholders such; ensure designs meet regulatory and approval standard
  • Coach and guide early-career designers, ensuring technical development and progress
  • Manage and execute design tasks with a high level of technical responsibility
  • Work closely with the Senior Team Lead and other senior design team members to ensure alignment of design solutions and deliverables
  • Perform self-checks and peer reviews of engineering outputs, including Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring compliance with the Detail Design Quality Management Process/System

Requirements:

  • Solid leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop early-career designers
  • Ability to work with a high level of technical autonomy and responsibility
  • Strong quality assurance skills, with experience in performing checks and audits of design outputs
  • Experience designing in the structural or outfit domains
  • Proficient in 3D CAD modelling and other design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA)
