Role Overview
The Dollar Store Supervisor supports the Store Manager in leading the team, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seasonal merchandise, keeping shelves fully stocked, and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operation of a high-volume dollar store
- Lead, train, and support team members during shifts
- Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at all times
- Manage cash registers, cash handling, and deposits
- Oversee stocking, merchandising, and organization of $1–$50 items
- Maintain cleanliness, product rotation, and recovery throughout the day
- Execute seasonal resets and promotional displays
- Ensure store safety and loss prevention procedures are followed
- Open and close the store as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or dollar store environment preferred
- Supervisory or shift-lead experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks
- Comfortable lifting merchandise (up to [X lbs]) and working on your feet
- Reliable, positive, and customer-focused
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.96-$25.91 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
