Community Ministry & Outreach Worker (Faith-Based Recovery)

Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada

About the Role:

We're looking for a passionate Christian who wants to help people find freedom from addiction through Christ-centred recovery and support. This role serves in our Community Office, combining case management, outreach, and discipleship to help individuals build new lives rooted in faith and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

→ Provide Christ-centred support to clients affected by addiction or life-controlling issues

→ Complete intake, assessment, and referral for community programs and recovery services

→ Help develop and monitor individual recovery plans alongside ministry staff

→ Facilitate faith-based groups, prayer, and devotions for clients and community members

→ Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and client records

→ Collaborate with churches, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen support networks

→ Assist with local fundraising, outreach events, and ministry activities

What We're Looking For:

→ A committed Christian who integrates biblical principles into daily work

→ Background in addictions, social services, or case management

→ Strong interpersonal, administrative, and communication skills

→ Organized and flexible; able to work some evenings/weekends as ministry needs arise
