Homestar Building Supplies is seeking a dependable and motivated Yard Hand to support our operations. This hands-on role involves handling materials, organizing inventory, and assisting across different company buildings. Your work ensures the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of materials throughout our facilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials across yard and company buildings
  • Handle skids, lumber, tools, and inventory safely and efficiently
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  • Keep accurate records of tools, supplies, and materials
  • Support daily yard cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
  • Perform general physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and tool usage
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, lumber yard, or building supply environment is an asset
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork ethic

Work Environment:

  • Physical role involving lifting, bending, carrying, and standing
