Essential Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of MMS solutions utilizing the Software Suite.
- Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
- Develop business requirements, both functional and non-functional for MMS solutions.
- Collaborate and workshop with both internal and external SMEs in the development of business requirements and scopes of work.
- Develop requirement traceability matrices to ensure agreed requirements are completed and fully tested.
- Elaborate business requirements into development "stories" with acceptance criteria to a level the development team can deliver during planning and build phases.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout build phases to remove any ambiguity of requirements.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and have the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
- Use technical experience and analytical thinking.
- Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
- Explain information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field.
- Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline from an accredited university or college
- Proven experience in a technical consultancy role within the electrical utility industry especially with Operational Technologies such as any of MMS, EMS, DMS, OMS solutions.
- Experience with energy & ancillary services markets such as Day Ahead (DA) & Real time (RT) is a plus.
- High level understanding of market systems solution from an OT standpoint is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with project leads, SMEs and end-clients.
- Customer Interaction: Being customer-focused, the role requires a high degree of interaction and consultancy, necessitating strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and expectations effectively
As GE Vernova is a global organization, working across different time zones, and monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours can be expected.
