Part Time Market Rink Staff

Seasonal - January to March

Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Sundays 11:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The Market Rink Staff supervises skaters both on and off the ice and around the perimeter of the rink and ensures ice and rink perimeters are clear of snow and safety hazards.

The successful candidate(s) for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Must be able to skate
  • Manual labor work experience (shoveling snow and chipping ice involved)
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team
  • Experience supervising public in a recreational setting
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate required
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station (if over 18)
  • Full G Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset
  • Location: Covent Garden Market
