WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - LLMI

Description:

· An ideal candidate would currently be a Shift Supervisor or in a Lead Hand role seeking the next step in their career into a supervisory role.

· The successful candidate must be a high-energy & outgoing individual that is constantly looking to push themselves and the team to the next level.

· The candidate will manage 5-7 employees by directing and planning the workflow of the Brantford warehouse employees

· Able to identify and prioritize orders for inbound/outbound load planning

· Understand warehouse management systems and be able to direct employee questions once trained.

· Measure and motivate employees to consistently achieve productivity levels and service level agreements

· Lead the development and implementation of programs that promote safety in the workplace

· Coordinate various warehouse activities in order to maximize quality and productivity

· Ongoing training of new and current staff on machinery, dock locks, battery change station, proper stacking techniques

· Responsible for the security of the building

· The Supervisor will be required to drive a forklift and work alongside the team in order to ensure that shipping deadlines are achieved.

· Hours of work will be 3 pm - 12 pm, Monday – Friday.

Qualifications:

· Education: College Diploma, University Degree or equivalent experience (1-3 years of leadership experience)

· Intermediate computer skills (MS Office) and computerized inventory management systems; SAP experience would be ideal

· Experience working in a distribution environment with RF Scan guns

· Strong focus on health and safety

· Ability to work on your own, with superior interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

· Excellent time management and conflict management skills and coaching skills

· Able to build strong relationships with all levels within the business and ensure constant information exchange with the business

· Must be proficient on a lift truck

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
