Hours: Full Time- Monday to Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm

Position Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness facilities, equipment, and change rooms in accordance with brand standards and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. This role ensures a safe and clean environment for all employees, guests, and members.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily and weekly housekeeping checklists as assigned and scheduled keeping facility and common areas cleaned and maintained.
• Properly clean all equipment.
• Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors.
• Cleans up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Cleans and stocks change rooms and bathrooms.
• Uses all janitorial supplies in accordance with product labels and club manuals.
• Identifies any problems with equipment or building maintenance reporting all issues to General Manager.
• Performs special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Assist in keeping track of supplies, stocking accordingly.
• Attends all required training sessions and meetings.
• Adheres to and maintain all safety protocols, guidelines, and procedures in compliance with COVID-19 provincial requirements.
• Reports all member complaints to General Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by General Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Custodial experience an asset.
• High school diploma or equivalent, an asset.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with employees, guests, and members.
