Position Overview

D. Floyd Construction is seeking skilled Bobcat Operators to join our dynamic team. This position will include year-round work, and an opportunity to make an impact on some of Calgary's most impactful projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Drilling holes for fence installation
  • Grading fence lines for fence installation
  • Work closely with team members to achieve organizational goals
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, and organized job site
  • Assist with other duties as required

Experience & Skills

  • Prior experience operating equipment – min. 2 years required.
  • Previous experience in driving truck and trailer – min. 2 years required.
  • Drilling/Auguring holes – min. 1 year required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
  • Follow company safety protocols on all sites
  • Clean Drivers license is necessary

Pay and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate of $27.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

  • 8 hour to 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday (7:00-4:30)
  • Weekend work may be necessary due to the nature of the work
  • 12 months per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
