Job Title: Long Haul Driver

Are you a skilled and reliable Long Haul Deck looking for a new opportunity? Look no further Win-Mar Freight Express is seeking experienced drivers to join us on the road for both our van and deck division.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight over long distances.

- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and other necessary documentation.

- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using electronic devices.

- Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transport.

- Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

- Valid class 1 driver's license.

- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Must be able to drive in Canada and the US.

- Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

- Must provide clear criminal record.

- Must provide commercial driver's abstract.

- Valid FAST card preferred.

Skills:

- Commercial driving experience, preferably in long-haul transportation.

- Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations.

- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules.
